Summary

Delta Misr for Contracting is hiring an experienced Infrastructure Site Engineer to join our Project Execution Team. We are looking for a proactive field leader who can manage daily site operations for Roads and Infrastructure networks. The ideal candidate will be responsible for translating technical drawings into reality, managing site manpower and heavy equipment, and ensuring that all earthworks and paving activities are executed safely, on time, and within the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Site Supervision: Direct and supervise all daily site activities, including earthworks (cut & fill), sub-grade preparation, sub-base layers, and asphalt paving.

• Resource Management: Manage and distribute site resources effectively, including heavy equipment (graders, loaders, rollers) and manpower, to maximize productivity.

• Quality Control: Ensure all executed work complies with the approved Shop Drawings and technical specifications, and coordinate with the QC team for inspection requests (RFI).

• Surveying Coordination: Work closely with the Surveying team to verify levels, alignments, and dimensions before and during execution.

• Material Logistics: Plan and request necessary materials (pipes, aggregate, bitumen, concrete) in advance to prevent work stoppages.

• Reporting: Submit daily progress reports to the Project Manager, highlighting achievements, delays, and site consumption.

Key Skills

• Experience: Proven field experience in Road Construction and Utility Networks (Earthworks, Asphalt, Wet Utilities).

• Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of execution methods, soil compaction tests, and asphalt laying procedures.

• Leadership: Strong personality with the ability to manage foremen, operators, and subcontractors strictly and professionally.

• Problem Solving: Ability to make quick, sound decisions on-site to resolve execution challenges.

• Software: Ability to read drawings using AutoCAD and understanding of survey data.
